The pinion rotates at prime mover speed whereas the outer gears rotate at slower speeds. These lobe gear pumps have found their usage in varied industries and are used for transferring or unloading barrels. These pumps are light in weight and completely portable. There is absolutely no alignment required in these pumps. They offer smooth and free flow without any pulsations. Negligible vibration and noise is produced.
